Texts for Abstracts Book have to be written in Croatian (with obligatory Title, Summary and Key Words in English) or in English. Texts should be language reviewed. The authors are fully responsible for the contents of their articles. Final length of the abstract should be up to 2 pages including text, drawings and photographs.
Each text should be submitted only in electronic form (on-line submission).
Abstracts should be written by word processor MS Word (or compatible word processor). Page should be set on A4 portrait format (210x297 mm), left margin should be placed on 2.54 cm (1.0’’), right, top, and bottom margins on 1.27 cm (0.5’’). The text should be typed in Times New Roman or Times Roman font.
Title:
short and informative, bold style, 14 pt, centered.
Title in English:
translation of the title, bold style, 14 pt, centered.
Author/authors:
full names and surnames of all authors, bold style, 12 pt, centered.
Addresses of all authors, 10 pt, normal style, centered.
Key words:
12 pt, normal style, justified.
Text:
12 pt, normal size, justified. The article can be divided into sections. Single space should be used, double spaces only between last paragraph of the section and the title of the next section. First lines of paragraphs should be indented for 1.27cm (0.5’’).
References in text:
surnames are written in capitals, without initials of the names (e.g. VELIĆ, 1995), surnames of co-authors are separated (VELIĆ & TIŠLJAR, 1992), a surname is followed by a comma. If there are more than two authors, the first name should be followed by »et al.« and the year of publication (e.g. VELIĆ et al., 1997). Genera and Species names should be written in italics followed by the name(s) of the authors in capital letters (e.g. Chrysalidina gradata D’ORBIGNY).
Tables:
should be placed appropriately in the text. The table number should be above, followed by its title (e.g. Table 1. Hydrogeological parameters of wells on the Vukovar plain).
Figures:
(maps, drawings, photographs) have to be of a high-quality, black and white or grayscale. They should be numbered and referred to in the text. Figure captions should be written consecutively at the end of the text file. Figures should not be included into the text file, but should be submitted separately. Each illustration should be in form of a separate file with a title appropriate to its contents, e.g. fig1.eps, fig2.eps, etc.). File format should be preferably EPS, CDR, JPEG or TIFF.
Scale bars:
in figures should be presented graphically because of the adjustment during layout preparation.
References:
all references mentioned in the text should be cited in alphabetical order, as in the following examples:

Only texts which have been prepared according to the abovementioned instruction and submitted on time will be included in the Abstracts Book.
Deadline for submission of abstracts is 15.04.2010.
Submitted papers will be reviewed by Scientific Committee.
